Cut, not printed
The vinyl itself supplies the color. Letters and shapes are cut from the material, so photos, gradients, and full-color printed wraps are a different process.
CUSTOM VINYL DECALS · VINYL LETTERING / NEW JERSEY
Bring finished artwork or just the idea. DDA combines graphic-design support with precision vinyl cutting for lettering, logos, labels, stencils, signs, equipment graphics, and other smooth-surface applications
CUT VINYL AT A GLANCE
The vinyl itself supplies the color. Letters and shapes are cut from the material, so photos, gradients, and full-color printed wraps are a different process.
A single cut can be up to 39 inches in height. Larger compositions may be practical as multiple pieces depending on the artwork and installation plan.
Send vector artwork when you have it, or start with a logo, sketch, reference, or description and we can coordinate the design work needed for the decal.
TWO WAYS TO BEGIN
You do not need production-ready artwork before reaching out. Start from whichever point you are already at.
Send the cleanest source file you have along with the required size, color, quantity, and intended surface. We will review whether the art can be cut cleanly and identify any file preparation needed before production.
DDA works with graphic designer Emma Homoki to develop lettering, logo treatments, layout, and original graphics for vinyl projects. Design scope, revisions, and cost are agreed before production.
REAL DDA VINYL WORK
This graphic was designed and produced by DDA as multi-color cut vinyl, combining script lettering, location text, and a simple graphic mark.

COMMON APPLICATIONS
These are starting points, not a catalog. If the job is unusual, tell us what needs to be marked, labeled, masked, or displayed and where the vinyl will live.
Business names, project names, room or equipment identification, hours, numbers, and clean typographic layouts.
Cut versions of logos and graphic marks when the artwork translates cleanly into practical vinyl shapes.
Organizational labels, cabinet or machine identification, project labeling, and other clean visual markers.
Decals or lettering produced to fit the dimensions and graphic needs of a smooth sign, glass, or display surface.
Cut shapes for paint, marking, masking, or repeatable placement when the geometry suits the process.
Add a name, simple brand treatment, or functional marking to a prototype, mockup, small batch, or presentation piece.
PRODUCTION FLOW
Tell us where the vinyl is going, whether it is indoors or outdoors, and the approximate dimensions available.
Provide artwork or work through the design. Confirm wording, layout, color, scale, and quantity.
The artwork is checked for details that are too small, too intricate, or otherwise unsuitable for clean cut vinyl.
Production starts after the design, material, color, and scope are agreed.
The vinyl is cut and prepared for the agreed deliverable. Installation is not assumed unless it is specifically discussed with the project.
QUOTING / PREP
DDA is based in New Jersey and regularly supports clients across the Northeast. For vinyl projects outside the immediate area, share your location and deadline so the handoff can be planned with the project.
No. This page is for cut vinyl: the vinyl itself supplies the color and the cutter creates the letters or shapes. Full-color photographic or gradient artwork generally calls for a different printing process.
Vector artwork is the best starting point when you have it. SVG, EPS, AI, and vector PDF files are useful because their paths can be evaluated directly. If you only have a PNG, JPG, screenshot, sketch, or logo reference, send it anyway and we can review what preparation or design work would be required.
Yes. DDA works with graphic designer Emma Homoki on projects that need original artwork, lettering, logo treatment, or layout before the production cut. Design scope, revision expectations, and cost are established before production.
The cutter supports a single-piece height up to 39 inches. Final feasibility depends on the artwork and material. Larger compositions may need to be separated into pieces, so send the finished dimensions you want rather than resizing the design yourself.
Surface texture, cleanliness, finish, exposure, and intended service life all matter. Smooth, suitable surfaces are the best candidates. Send a photo and describe where the decal will be used so material and feasibility can be reviewed before production.
Do not assume installation is included. The standard scope is design/file preparation and cut-vinyl production. If your job has an application or installation requirement, include it in the inquiry so it can be discussed before quoting.
START THE PROJECT
Send the intended dimensions, quantity, colors, surface, and the best artwork or reference you have. A finished vector file is helpful, not required.
