We can scan its outer shape to create a digital model. That model can help us design a replacement, change a part, or make a holder that fits around it.
Useful for curves and complex shapes that are hard to measure by hand.

What do you need us to make?
A 3D file, an editable design, and a finished part take different work. We’ll help you choose which steps your project needs.

Scan the object
3D scanning
We capture the surfaces the scanner can reach. The result is a mesh: a 3D file of the object’s shape. A scan cannot reveal hidden insides or recreate missing pieces.

Rebuild or change it
Need to move a hole, replace a broken tab, or design a matching bracket? We can use the scan as a guide to draw a model you can edit. This is separate design work.

Make a physical part
Want a replacement or a test part? We can review the design for printing, choose a material, and plan fit checks. Printing and any changes needed are quoted as part of the project.

Can your object be scanned?
Material and finish
Shiny, clear, or very dark surfaces can be harder to scan. Send photos and tell us what the object is made of. We’ll discuss whether it needs surface preparation.
Broken or worn areas
A scan copies damage too. Point out cracks, worn edges, and missing pieces. Rebuilding those areas takes design work beyond the scan.
How closely it must fit
Tell us which holes, edges, or surfaces must line up with another part. We’ll review the measurements and fit your project needs before accepting the job.
Photos from several sides. Include the underside and any damage.
Approximate size in mm. Length, width, and height are a useful start.
